Jane Smith
Undergraduate Student
Jane Smith is a junior majoring in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, where she works as a research assistant in the Neural Systems Laboratory under Dr. Michael Chen. Her research focuses on developing brain-computer interfaces for patients with motor disabilities. Jane is particularly interested in the intersection of neuroscience and assistive technology. Outside the lab, she volunteers with Baltimore youth STEM programs and enjoys rock climbing. After graduation, she plans to pursue a Ph.D. in neural engineering with the goal of making neuroprosthetics more accessible.
